CameraOffsets Property

This is a proposed ICameraV3 property.

List of Offset names supported by the camera

Namespace:  ASCOM.DriverAccess
Assembly:  ASCOM.DriverAccess (in ASCOM.DriverAccess.dll) Version: 3c9121baba46811fe6e53a58a05935662261416d
public ArrayList Offsets { get; }

Return Value

Type: ArrayList
Thed list of supported offset names as an ArrayList of strings
PropertyNotImplementedExceptionWhen the Offset property is not implemented or is operating in OFFSET VALUE mode.
NotConnectedExceptionWhen the information is not available. (Some drivers may require an active connection in order to retrieve necessary information from the camera.)

This is an optional property and can throw a PropertyNotImplementedException.

When Offset is operating in OFFSETS INDEX mode:

The returned offset names could, for example, be a list of ISO settings for a DSLR camera or a list of offset names for a CMOS camera. Typically the application software will display the returned offset names in a drop list, from which the astronomer can select the required value. The application can then configure the required offset by setting the camera's Offset property to the array index of the selected description.

It is recommended that this function be called only after a connection is established with the camera hardware to ensure that the driver is aware of the capabilities of the specific camera model.

This is only available in Camera Interface Version 2 and later.
